Euphorbia multiflorous

Euphorbia multiflorous, perhaps, the most beautiful of all kinds of perennial molochae. It changes the coloring in the yellow-green spectrum, forming an incredibly beautiful decorative effect.

Multiflorous spurge is a globose bush consisting of many straight stems with a height of 40-50 cm. On the stems of the bush are evenly distributed oblong-oval leaves up to 8 cm long.

Each shoot ends with golden-yellow inflorescences, which are surrounded by twisted bracts leaves. It is these upper leaves that give the plant decorativeness. During the season, they gradually change color from light green to bright yellow.

Euphorbia: planting, growing and caring

In the main, the plant is propagated by planting highly grown bushes. They are divided in spring or early autumn. Such planted bushes grow in one place up to 10 years. Care for them is very simple: they need to be filled with humus every spring and watered during the dry season. In September, the bushes of the milkweed are pruned.

Another way to plant bushes is to sow seeds that ripen in July. However, this method does not give a large decorative offspring, so it is preferable to still propagate the plant in a vegetative way.

Very beautifully bushes of multifloral milkweed look in the company with stunted fir, juniper and globular thuja . However, the bushes look fine on their own, especially planted in groups.

Care of the milk is very simple, the plant tolerates drought and frost. But best of all, it develops on fertile soil, provided it is sufficiently moistened.

In general, multiflorous spurge is an excellent ornamental plant, which does not require much effort in planting and care, due to which it is very popular in flower gardens and rock gardens.
