Anastacia, overcoming the disease and having undergone a complex operation to remove the breast (the singer made a double mastectomy) was severely undergoing psychological rehabilitation. As a result of a long struggle with cancer, she decided to set up the Anastacia Fund to raise awareness among women about breast cancer, which is what made her an outlet and gave her strength.
